The time now is 11:30pm and my birthday is going to end soon. So I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to those who send me the birthday wishes.

I really didn't expect that I will received that much birthday wishes this year. I know it's nothing compared to those who have million friends in their contacts. I am a kind of person that not good in making relationship with friends and have always offended them. That's why I didn't expected anything on my birthday every year. But I am really touched and appreaciated when I received the birthday wishes. Once again, thank you!!

I apologized to those I've offended before but please don't expect me to change because it's my styles and behaviors : )

Forget about that and talk about my life.

I am officially in my 20's. It's not a good thing actually because I am getting old and slowly step into the cruel society. I have to take responsibilty for everything that I do and no more spoon feeding from parents and friends : (

By the way, the birthday this year is really meaningless because I have to stay at home and study hard for the exam in coming Saturday!!

She Get Serviced

I drove my Z and went for service in this morning. I had done less than 5000 kilometers since I purchased the car. Meaning that it was the first time to service the car.

At the very beginning, I was thinking on which brand of oils to buy. I had considered about Redline and Amsoil before I made my decision on Motul. But these oils never came cheap, it costed me around RM1300 for the oils and an oil filter.

This was my first time to try out the Motul. I will write a review on Motul after the next service.

While servicing the car, I took the opportunities and have a look on the bottom of car. It was my first time stayed under the Z, I managed to find out the place that always 'kiss' with ground. I also checked are there any leakage of oils or any defect parts needed to replace. Overall, it was considered good for a 6 years old car since production date.

Tuition Free Week S1, 2010

Hooray!! It's tuition free week!! After 1 month of study, finally can take some break!

I was heading back to Bintulu with friends this afternoon. Nothing much to write, just upload a few photos for fun.

Oh! I almost forget to say about that I will be going to Kuala Lumpur again during this tuition free week and there will be 9 peoples joining in this trip. For some reason, I cannot post any updates on this trip : )

Brunei Day Trip 2

The first week of school was so nerve wrecking and I was busy as hell. Not only did I have attend classes, I also had to keep looking for Head of Department to make admenments and enrolments.

Now that I still have minor time on my hands, I thought I should quickly write this down. I have a feeling I won't be updating as often anymore due to university work in the future.

At Friday, some people were confused when I appeared in Bintulu as they thought I was supposed to be in Miri. So they came to question where I was, but I had already returned to Miri. The actual story was I existed in Bintulu for a mere 5 hours. I followed my friend and reached Bintulu at 1pm. Within the 5 hours, I went to get a hair cut, get passports for friends and fix some things at home. Then, I took the last flight back to Miri at 6:15pm.

I had to take the evening flight back to Miri because there was no flight on Saturday. If there was, I wouldn't have done something so crazy just to spend 5 hours in Bintulu. The other reason why I have to return early was because I planned a trip to Brunei on Saturday.

This is my second time to review about the day trip to Brunei. You can actually look back for my first review at here. Well, there isn't much to tell so just let the photos talk.

It was my first time to drive in Brunei and I got the great opportunity to cruise 180km/h for more than 15 minutes. It was a really good experience for me. But I advised that never speed for 160km/h and above in Toyota Vios because the car was not designed for high speed cruising. Trust me! Although it did feel nice, but a single mistake will led to death.

Minor Modifications

I recently took the only Toyota in my home for some minor modifications. It is a fifth generation Toyota Camry. The car has served us for so many years with the mileage of 190k on clock.

Chinese New Year Trip

I went to Bintangor with my family on 13 February, Chinese New Year's Eve for reunion dinner. We started to drive at around 9am and reached Bintangor at 1pm.

We straightly went to my grandmother's house when arrived in Bintangor. I found a naughty and clever puppy at there.

We went to Sarikei to pay a visit. According to my research, I can concluded that Sarikei was slightly bigger than Bintangor but shared the same common which was very BORED to stay. These two small villages got no place to go and play. Urban people like me cannot stay too long in these places.

Few hours later, we went back to Bintangor for the dinner.

The main purpose of the dinner today was to ask permission from the ancestors to bless the groom and bride that get married tomorrow.

Extreme Experience

It was quite a long time that I didn't write anything here. I just got back from Miri this afternoon and I got fews crazy things to share.

I drove to Miri alone at 8:45pm on Wednesday, 20 January 2010.

I was cruising alone on the bumpy road to Miri. I saw many dead animal corpses like rat, frog, snake and dog. I was a bit scary that time because no one was on the road except me. I reached Miri at 11 pm after 2 hours of cruising.

Pirates?

The boat came close to turn over because the 'pirates' were trying to escape from the fountain.

Anyways, enough boring story. I am going to share an extreme experience to my faithful readers. The story was happened on Friday, 22 January 2010 at my house in Senadin.

I still remembered it was around 1am in the midnight. 3 of us were trying to burn some bushes at my compound. We were taking turn to burn down the bushes.

Everything was alright until .....

Look at the photos and you should know what was happened that night.

You might started to think that it was only a small case. If you think so then you are definitely wrong, I can tell you that the fire was huge.

The fire was controlled immediately and resulted in no further damage. We used water to control the movement of fire because the oil flew to the direction of the car. Meanwhile, we took the sand to cover the fire.

We got no choices but have to wake up early in the morning to 'destroy the evidence'.

It was quite fun to play with the paint at the beginning. But few minutes later, we got tired and decided to call someone to help us.

Here was the most funniest part, Ngon stopped a people that cycled on the road. He asked the people to help us to paint but the people was refused to help in the beginning. After some 'forces' to him, that people also got no choice then asked his friends to come over to help him. 3 of them worked hard and managed to finish the paint on ceiling before 7pm.

Of course we were not that evil, we gave them RM60 and 3 boxes of drinks as their wages.

The photo above was the minor burn on my hand. You want to know painful or not? Try it yourself next time but not at home!

Another thing was that there were big different between General Hospital and Private Hospital. It was not about the medical fees but was about the services! Go try out yourself so you will understand what i said.

That was the container that fully filled-up with 5 litre of gasoline. That piece of shit almost killed me and burned down the house and 3 cars. I managed to throw away the container before it was melt down. Luckily, I only got some minor burn on my right hand because I was holding the container that time.

The ceiling was now covered with the new paint.

The Moral of the Story: Do not ever try this at home because you may regretted one day!

Shopping Trip

I just got back from my shopping trip to Kuala Lumpur with my fellow friends.

I went to LINKS and saw a Z that equipped with a supercharger was waiting on the dyno machine. I got no chance to see the entire dyno process and results because I was rushing for time. But I knew that this baby can easily bypass 300+ bhp.

Later, I went to look for some lightweight performance wheels in a shop. There were tons of wheels including Enkei, Works, BBS and Rays Engineering available in this shop.

The production date and the size were shown on the sticker.

These were the tires that I purchased for my Z. There were 245/35/19 for the front and 275/35/19 for the rear. More details were be given in the future after I got the new wheels.

Logitech G27
In my previous post, I did promised to purchase the Logitech G27 to fully utilize the gaming experience from Need For Speed Shift.

This was the complete view of my latest toy. I can only said this thing was pretty cool. It came with 6-speed manual transmisson, multifunctional steering and clutch, brake and gas pedals.

Goodbye 2009, Welcome 2010

It's come to the end of 2009.

There are many things happened in 2009.

No matter happy or unhappy, good or bad, these things shouldn't bring forward to the new year because we have to make the new target for the new year. The important thing is that we should forget about the unhappy things and don't look back anymore. There will something better in the new year.

For me, I have a lot of dreams and I don't know when or whether there will achieve. Therefore, I will try my best and work hard for them in the new year.

A Night of Christmas Carol

I went to the Gloria Methodist Church on yesterday night to attend a concert.

The concert was called "A Night of Christmas Carol".

I know there is a concert on yesterday night but I didn't plan to attend it until I know the Santa Claus will also be there. That was the main reason for me to attend the concert. My only intention was to make friend with the Santa Claus. I just wanted to wipe off the embarrasement between us so we can have better friend relationship. Unfortunately, I think the Santa Claus had misunderstood my intention and started to ignore me. Seem like I am not going to receive the gifts next time.

Damn! I have failed it again! I think I am poor in making friends. Nevermind, forget about the sad things and back to the story.

I'm glad to have the ticket for free because it was the christmas gift given by the Santa Claus. People who want to attend the concert have to pay RM10 for the ticket.

See the number on upper right corner? That's going to be my next 4D number. "0147", the lucky number given by Santa Claus?

The concert was started with a pray to invite the Jesus. Then, followed by the performance of the performers. I sat upstairs and I can watch the performance very clearly. Everyone was concentrated on the show which created a completely silent environment. The singing from the performers were like Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. Overall, the concert took me one and half hours but it worth the time.

Lastly, I want to say thanks to the Santa Claus for "inviting" me to the concert. Besides, I also want to share a song to everyone.

Need For Speed Shift

I have finally finished download the Need For Speed Shift. Please don't ask me why I don't buy a genuine copy of this game. You know why? Because I going to save that money to buy myself a Logitech G27 Racing Wheel. In order to get the true and real experience from the game, the racing wheel is a must stuff. I got myself addicted to this kind of racing games since I got my driving license. I started to watch movies like illegal street racing, drag race, drifting and so on.

After few hours on playing that game, I have the intention to switch my car to another powerful and sporty car. The Z that I currently own is not powerful anymore. Or maybe say in another way, I need another high horsepower vehicle to fulfill my needs.

Yesterday, I met an uncle that drive GTR35. He is the first person to own that Godzilla in Bintulu. He also owned a Z before he changed car. He asked me to get into his car and he bring me to feel the real power of the Godzilla. This uncle really know how to play with the Godzilla, he first turned off the VDC and turned on the sport mode. After that, he just went out to a straight road then doing full throttle. Overall, I love the power that released by the Godzilla very much.

Brunei Day Trip

I have been crazily searching for an important thing and it led me to Brunei to do a further search for it. I went to Brunei with my dear and some friends in this morning.

As most Mirian's would know that when go to Brunei, you don't miss out on their very famous Sushi restaurant - Escapade. We reached at noon and had no breakfast, so you can imagine how hungry we were when we reached.

I will show some of the food we ordered although I am sure that many have blogged about this particular restaurant before. It will come as no surprise if you have seen some of the photos.

There is avocado in here and it taste so fresh. Nevertheless, this restaurant is indeed known for the freshness of the cuisine. It makes people feel safe to dine here. No one has to worry about bacteria and of course, the service is wonderful.

Kaki furai (fried oysters)

I did not know what it was and I just took a bite into it. The taste was indescribable, it tasted like rotten food. Maybe I am just not cut out for seafood. I see others savouring it nicely.

It's huge compared to the other sushi's and if you notice the yellow chunk in the middle, its not egg, it's a huge chunk of philadelphia cheese! Yeah, they are that generous :)

This is my favourite. I love fried food. I love fried noodles, fried shrimp, fried chicken, french fries. Nice and crispy tempura shall come as no surprise to my liking :)

After lunch, we went to look at the things that I was searching for and things that my friends were looking for. Phoebe only went for the sushi, so she was stuck with us while we did boys stuff. After searching for the whole afternoon with no luck at all, we decided to call it a day and head back to Miri, but before that, we visited the famous hotel and resort in Brunei. As many would know, it is The Empire Hotel. In front of Empire Hotel, they showcase the most incredible cars.

I shall enlighten you all with a little history about The Empire Hotel and Country Club. I personally think it's absurd to build such a grand and humungous building in such a small country with not much tourism going on but Brunei under some twisted reasoning has indeed brought this concept to life.

The Empire Hotel and Country Club took 6 years to finish and the process of finishing it alone took the employment of over 300 designers, craftsmen and technicians. It is indeed grand and majestic inside and out. With all marble and pillars to make it look like a palace lives up to its name The Empire.

The hotel and country club has operated since 16th October 2000. Under supervision of Bruneian Board of Directors, over 800 employees serve under the hotel and maintain its service and surroundings.

Dolphins buried in the grass
We found this particularly amusing because the dolphins were buried in the grass. Heh. Also no one bothered to clean up the bird dropping that landed on the dolphins. Of 800 employees, non of them cared for these poor dolphins.

Later, we stopped by Supasave in Seria on the way back and when we reached the Brunei customs, there was a short jam as the Muslims had just started dining also known as "buka puasa".

This just about sums up the whole trip to Brunei.

Friday Movie Night

I had movie night with my friends yesterday. We watched G.I. Joe - The Rise of Cobra. For me, this movie is very cool. It is an action movie and is quite exciting. The movie is mainly based on the nanotechnology. For more information, please go watch the movie yourself : )

After movies, I went to pick up my dear for supper. We went to Grand Palace for supper. It's not our first time at Best Western. This time around we went there around 11p.m. The waitress told us their last order was at 11.30 p.m. We quickly sat down and ordered. Our order for the night is shown below.

Egg Noodle Claypot

I ordered claypot noodle. It was delicious.

Wet Fried Noodle

Dear's wet fried noodles. It was a very big plate but it was slightly salty and creamy. She also ordered Crab Mornay. It was crab meet baked in mashed potato with cheese and mustard topping. It's ashame there's no photo for evidence cause it was finished before I got a chance to take a picture of it. Dear and I both agree that the scallop au gratin tastes better and not as dry.

The highlight of the night is our shark fin with shredded chicken soup. This is delicious, with genuine shark fin.

Sushi Trip

Previously, I have stated that I will go and try out the food in Sushi King. Today, I went there with my dear and my friends.

When we reached Sushi King, we waited in front of the restaurant to be seated but nobody came to serve us. Therefore, we went in by ourselves and looked for a spot next to the sushi train.

By looking at the menu, we quickly familiarize ourselves with the prices of different coloured plates. We also pick out a few things that were not offered on the sushi train. There was complimentary green tea so we didn't have to order other drinks.

Sakana Fry

It is a deep fried fish fillets which costed me RM3. I dont know what fish that was but it was delicious.

Sukiyaki Nabe Udon

It is a Japanese wheat noodles with beef, soft tofu,mushrooms, onions and spring onions. It costed me RM16.90. It is a chef's recommended dish. It is quite overpriced if you ask me but it was very delicious.

Overall, it was not bad for my first time in Sushi King, Miri. Hopefully the food quality doesn't change for the worse.

Why Always My House?

This morning, my dear called me early in the morning. I really dislike people calling me while I am sleeping unless you want to give me money, then I am willing to hear what you want to say. She asked me to go downstairs and there was something to show me.

I went downstairs in a foul mood only to find a dead cat next to my beloved car. This made me feel even more irritated. Why always my house?! This is the third time something like this happened. I think that I should go to buy a lottery. I bet that I will get a lot of money with the luck that I am having.

If this happens another time, I will tie the dead cat to my car and bring it for a spin across town with a minimum of 180km/h. I want to do a little experiment and see whether it will burn to ashes.

Haze Worsens

Recently, the haze in Miri has gotten worse.

The haze contributed to the rising temperature of the surrounding. You feel the heat eating into your flesh as you walk under the sun. Even in a 16 celcius aircond room, you are still able to sweat like you are in sauna.

The photo above was taken in the morning around 9am while I was driving to the campus. Normally, the air should be cold and you can smell the fresh grass. I took a look outside and I didn't have a clear view of what I usually saw. I could hear the trees crying and see the birds dying.

This was a shot of burning within campus area. The whole business school building was almost covered by the haze caused by the burning. Due to the burning, there was debri flying in the air. There were a lot students coughing and some of them were wearing masks.

Even though sitting in a fully air conditioned room, I could still smell the smoke. According to a lecturer, there was a more serious case in 2004 and it caused the campus to shut down. He said if the haze goes on for a week, the campus will have to be shut down.

In the evening, I went to my friends house for dinner. The photo above was taken opposite his house. This open burning will only allow the temperature to increase and make the haze worse.

When we could no longer tolerate the smoke and the heat coming from the open burning, we called the police. After reporting the case, we waited for the police to come. As we fed the mosquitoes outside waiting for the police to arrive, the police never showed up. So we decided to go for a different alternative that is to call the fireman! We searched for the firemen number and dialled but it was engaged so we gave up calling. I am so disappointed with the police and firemen. They are supposed to protect and help the citizens but they didn't even bother with the reports made.

Anyways, I hope the haze will end soon.

The First Week

My first week of class just ended. I can only summarize the whole week with the word exhaustion. Going through each unit outline felt so stressful as the lecturers outline the assignments and the examinations. There was also some other difficulties that we faced and had to do a little damage control so that our semester would run smoothly.

After a tiring week, we decided that it's a time for a little destressing and relaxing so on Friday evening we went to town for dinner and window shopping.

Sushi King

For those who dont know, the Sushi King which located in Bintang Megamall, Miri has launched on yesterday afternoon. As you all know when a new shop opens up, it isn't a surprise to see people piling up to be the first one to experience it. This is even more serious when it comes to newly opened restaurant. No matter how long it takes, people are willing to queue up and wait for the seats. This scenario that I have just explained happened yesterday. I haven't gotten myself into that shop yet due to the crowd. I will go with my dear in the future when it isn't too crowded.

That night we went to watch movies. For some reason, we watched 2 movies for a very discounted price, I will not disclose the reason here. We watched "Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" and also "Blood: The Last Vampire".

On Saturday, we went to Mc Donalds for brunch. As most would know, Mc Donalds offers Mc value lunches from 12pm to 3pm everyday. This causes the restaurant to be also packed with a lot of people. We reached Mc Donalds a little after 12 and only got our orders taken an hour later. While waiting for other people, we noticed that some of them had bought no less than 6 sets of Mc Value lunches. Butterfly Kite

After the window shopping in Bintang Megamall, we decided to go to the beach. After a round of coconuts, we were full and decided to go for a stroll along the beach. We met an uncle selling kites and we decided to buy one and learn how to fly the kite. The kite we bought was a colourful butterfly kite and it costed us RM12.

Flying Kite

Because it was our first time flying the kite, we didn't know how to control the kite. Therefore, it didn't keep in the air for long and kept falling. The uncle who sold us the kite saw us having difficulties and came over to help us with the kite. He taught us how to align the kite and also how to fly the kite. In the end, we still didn't manage to keep the kite in the air for long cause we wanted the kite to fly higher and higher. It was sort of frustrating as we had to reel in the thread each time the kite fell onto the sand or the sea water.

Trail marks made by little crabs

From my research, these little spheres of sand are made by sand bubbler crabs during their feeding time. Feeding time happens when there is low tide of water. At low tide, these bubbler crabs will emerge and start to consume sand with their pinchers and spit out balls of sand consuming only the necessary food from the sand. They have to do this at a very quick pace while the sand is still moist as when it gets dry, it is hard for the crab to dig up sand. An average sand bubbler crab can produce up to 12 spheres of sand per minute.

After trying hard to fly the kite, we got tired and decided to call it a day. This is how today went about.

Semester Break Trip

Please get yourself ready for a long and hopefully well elaborated post.

This is the food served during the flight. We were given chicken and fish to choose from. Obviously, this is Malaysia Airlines as AirAsia does not serve meals like this during flights unless you pay for it. This marks the point that we are on our way to Kuala Lumpur.

We rent a Myvi for our trip to Genting Highlands. We plan to drive all the way up to Genting Highlands and back. Is that cool or what? I am pumping gas while Phoebe is trying to look cool.

This is the reading from our rented car. As you can see, it is a brand new car because the mileage shown only 1306km when I took the car. This gives us assurance that the car is in good condition and is qualified for our road to Genting Highlands. The rental fees for the new Myvi is RM90 per day.

And we are on our way to Genting Highlands! Yay! On the way up, we turned off the air-condition and wind down the windows. This benefits us as the car will be more powerful to go up hill while we get to experience the cold mists of Genting atmosphere. Some parts of the way was very cold while some were tolerable. I am guessing it's when we enter a more misty area that the temperature is somewhat lower.

Finally! We have reached our destination safely, excited and happy! We made reservations at Theme Park Hotel.

This is how our room looks like. It's a family room and consists of 2 queen size beds. There was no air condition in our room so we slept with the windows open. It is still quite cooling and was not warm at all.

The next day we woke up early for breakfast to keep our schedule on time for the theme park! In order to avoid human jam while buying tickets, we quickly finished our breakfast and waited for the ticketing booth to open. We purchased tickets for all parks including snow world. The ticketing lady that was serving us was quite inexperienced and it was clearly seen that she had no clue what we were asking for. Seeing the ticketing lady next to her was more professional, we asked her for help and in a little while, we had our tickets and was ready to go in.

Look at the green sign. This culprit will limit those that maybe under or over the wight limit stated. Otherwise, it will give the children a height limit. Although it is understood that it is due to safety precautions that this sign is there but it really give disadvantages to some of us that is overweight and wants to try out the ride. I got limit for this ride because I am 75kg : (

Here we see a sad case of overwight limit syndrome! Haha! Hui Hui was too heavy for the bumper boat ride therefore, he was sent to the side benches to wait for those who weight under the limit. LoL! Poor guy.

After the bumper boat ride, we proceeded to take another water ride. This ride did not have any limits thus, allowing Hui Hui to join us. This ride was kind of boring and the boat was slow as it was all on man power. Why man power? Because it needed us to cycle our way on the water. We decided to be creative and lined up for a competition to see which of us had better man power! The picture above shows all but me getting ready for the competition!

That's right! We are on the pirate ship. Pirate ship is often seen in most theme parks after roller coasters. This pirate ship wasn't very extreme but we made is fun as well. We had a little screaming battle with the people sitting at the other end of the pirate ship. After a while, the people on our side joined in too. Sad to say, we lost. Heh.

This ride is called the Space Shot. I didn't feel very well after a little face up the escalators with my friends so I didn't go on this ride. Phoebe, Robin and Ah Jin went on this ride. It was quite extreme as this rides goes up slowly giving us a safe feeling and a the top it plunges down really fast leaving us with a weightless feeling. Phoebe enjoyed this trip while Robin and Ah Jin looked a little stunned after.

After an extreme ride like that, we decided to slow down a little by visiting Dinosaurland. Dinosaurland offers us a slow boat ride into a little cave and there, we were briefly introduced to the Dinosaur family.

Tyrannosaurus was also know as the legendary T-Rex has a very huge head but very small arms. The photo was taken in the little cave.

I think that was a Brontosaurus which has a very long neck and a huge body. But still, I prefer to call it "Fucking Dick Head".

Daryl and Phoebe on the 1500 horsepower bumper car. It can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 1.5 seconds. The car was equipped with the lightweight performance rims. OK enough cock jokes, we all had fun and looked endlessly for people to aim and ram. We went for second round on the bumper car ride because there was no people lining up for the ride. Heed my advice, only go to Genting during weekdays.

I am sure by now you know who is who. We took forever to get a clear shot of the colourful First World Hotel as our background. This is one of the most successful attempts. Due to the heavy mists that floats in and out he had some failed attempts.

Later, we decided to went for a kiddy elephant ride. There is a button you can push so that your elephant will go up during the ride.

Lastly, we decided to end our outdoor theme park by going on the flying coaster but suddenly rain decided to befall upon us thus our ride had to be cancelled and we had to retreat to the indoor park.

We tried rock climbing. This is Phoebe and Robin trying rock climbing.

Phoebe decided to give up cause she coudn't find anymore rocks to grab onto and had insufficient stamina to go on. This leaves only Robin challenging himself to finish what he started! For myself, I managed to climb until the last few steps but gave up because I was lack of stamina.

After the rock climbing, we decided to go for a short 3D movie.

This photo was taken before the short movie. We have our 3D visual glasses on. Phoebe and I didn't really enjoy the movie as it made us feel nauseous and light headed.

I don't know what this guy is but he looked cool so we took a photo with him. He is very flexible with his gun and changes this poses to suit the photo sessions with people. I am sure it is cause of frequent training.

Our dinner for that night was Burger King! After Burger King, we visited Snow World.

Before we went into Snow World, we had to put on jackets boots and gloves provided by the staff. The temperature in snow world was -5 degrees celcius. Wonder it was real or not?

There is also an inflatable igloo in the Snow World. Inflatable obviously because the igloo is filled by air. Getting in and out of the igloo was tough. The floor within the igloo was very slippery and hard as it was ice. It was not only cold for the ass to sit on but when slipped and fell on, it hurt. Ouch!

Imagine you are trying to steal something in a room full of lasers, just like in the movies. How are you going to pull it off?

A room that full of lasers. It is really hard to pass these lasers without touching them. We all tried to surpass this field of lasers and fail. After our second attempt to pass the lasers, we gave up trying.

Outside the Theme Park Hotel, I saw this signboard. For your information, we left on Saturday and on that Saturday, all hotels in Genting Highlands were fully booked, except for the very expensive ones that not affordable. That is the reason why you must visit Genting only during weekdays. Unless you like to mingle with unknown strangers all over the place and queue up for hours to get onto a ride.

After Genting Highlands, our next destination is also one of the most crowded and happening places in Kuala Lumpur known as Starhill. Here we choose to stay at Hotel Capitol. This hotel is highly recommended. It is situated very close to quite a few shopping malls. Shopping malls that can be reached within minutes by foot are Sungei Wang, Low Yat Plaza, BB Plaza, Times Square and Lot 10.

This is our room. It looked small but quite comfortable, clean and new. Hotel Capitol is considered quite small but it is one of the busiest hotels as there are always people walking in and out due to the close range of shopping malls provided withing that area.

We got ourselves connecting rooms for convinience and also for space purposes. Luckily, we did because I just don't see how 4 people can squeeze in a small room with only 2 singles.

Do not be fooled by this delicious looking pizza. It's a scam. We stayed in Capitol for 3 nights but there wasn't as much pictures as the Genting trip because Starhill was more of a shopping trip and there wasn't much that was interesting.

This costed us RM38. The highlight of this set is their pizza. Look at how puny it is. I'd say we were SCAMMED. The pizza is so small even the bucket of ice looks more delicious.

On the very last night of our trip, we chose to stay...

Nope. Not the resort hotel. Pyramid Tower Hotel situated after this giant arch. It costed RM439 nett for one night. The services there were very nice and the staffs were very friendly. I definately will go there again.

The mighty egyptian lion that most people recognise in Subang. I am sure this lion is unforgettable.

After so much shopping and having so many things to carry, we decided that a normal taxi won't be big enough to accomodate our things. So, we looked for other transport to carry our things.

What you see here is the ride that is bringing us to Sunway Pyramid Hotel. W126, second generation of the S-class Mercedes-Benz. This costed RM100 for a single way.

This is our room in Pyramid Tower Hotel. Compared to Hotel Capitol, this room is equipped with 2 super singles and also more space. Of course the price is also double of the price paid for Capitol per night. The highlights of this hotel would be that it is connected to the shopping mall from its lobby and Sunway Lagoon is just right behind this Hotel. After we have checked into the hotel, we didn't waste our time for just exploring the room, we headed down to the shopping mall and walked around.

I saw this pen in the Sunway Pyramid. Can someone please explain to me who would buy a pen that costs RM10,800? Just because it is pen of the year 2009. Ridiculous.

Sunway Lagoon was supposedly close that day because it was Tuesday but somehow I managed to see people having fun from a view afar. So, I went to check and indeed it was open and by then it was already 3pm. We all bought our apparel and tickets and entered Sunway Lagoon at 4pm.

P/S: Sunway Lagoon is closed at 6pm. That's mean we only have 2 hours to enjoy.

Needless to say, we had fun. No pictures of us in Sunway Lagoon cause I kept my camera in the locker and could not afford to get it wet. There was no one to take pictures for us anyways as we all were thinking about getting wet and having fun.

Later, Hui Hui came to pick us up and we left for Asia Cafe, situated in Subang Jaya ss15.

This is the jumbo orange juice we ordered at Asia Cafe, the lighter is put there for comparison purposes. This jumbo juice costs 5 ringgit minus tax. Worth it?

Our flight for back to Miri was at 8.30am that morning. We had to wake up at 5am to get ready. This time we had more boxes with us so we decided to call for Innova to send us to the airport. The ride to the airport took us about 45 minutes. We left the hotel a little after 6am and arrive around 7am. The ride costed us RM90 only. After checking in and going through the customs, we decided to look for breakfast before heading to our depature gate.

At the depature gate, everyone were give this form to fill in. Thanks to the A(H1N1), everyone who have a flight need to fill this form.

We all had chicken satay with fried rice. We also have Ferrero Rocher, Guava juice and Loacker biscuits. Malaysia Airlines is indeed the airlines with the best service and quality. We reached Miri at about 10.45am and this marks the end of our trip.

Miracle Happened

OMG?!!

A miracle has happened! Guess what?!

I have passed all the units for the last semester. Yah! I have passed the units that I worried about which are Business Law 100 and Management 100. I am now officially moving into the second semester. Passing the exams is not the only reason contributing to my happiness, the other reason I am happy is because my parents promised to give a reward of RM2000 for passing all units.

My happiness does not end here. I came to Miri with my mom and sister in this morning. They came here to do some personal things and will be back on tomorrow. I have a flight on 9th to Kuala Lumpur for 8 days 7 nights. Yeah! I am getting excited now! How come the time passes so slow?!

Boring Days

It's been 2 weeks since my semester break started. I am getting boring because I am repeating the same things over and over again. I think this will going to continue until the semester break end.

I slept at 4am and waked up at 1pm. When I waked up, my mom has finised cooking and the lunch was ready for me. After my lunch, I will either stayed in front of the computer for the whole day or hanging out with friends. These things were keep on repeating everyday and I am getting sick of it.

Damn it! I felt that my life is pointless and lack of challenge. I forced to find something to do everyday in order to keep myself 'alive'. Sometimes, I dreamed that is it possible to reverse the time back to my secondary school life. It was because the life in secondary school was wonderful and was way better than now. Well, it was just another thing that will not going to happen. I am just a person that have too much time and don't know what should do. Can anyone please recommend something to do for me??

Oh yah, I wanted to share what I did yesterday.

I became a fisherman yesterday. My friend asked me to help him to carry the fishes from the container to another container because he wanted to change the ice for the fishes. It was the great experience for me because I never have this kind of experience before. I found so many interesting and funny things there. Let's the pictures talk the story.

Something crazy happened in this afternoon. While I am driving and enjoying the music, the car in front suddenly leaked fuel, Diesel. Shit! My 'girlfriend' is now full of Diesel!

I'm scared that later the paint will dropped so I quickly bring her to bath. This is the first time that she washed by 'snow'. Well, I think she looked happy.

It's great to be home!

It's been a week that I didn't update my blog. I was so busy with my final examinations. There is still a unit to go which is Management 100 on coming 16 June. There is a gap of 5 days between now and the last exam. That's why I have free time now to blog and to prepare well for the coming examination.

I'm quite happy today because the exam in this morning was quite easy and I did quite well in that paper. But for the past 2 papers especially Business Law 100, I'm scared that I will failed that paper. Shit! The four-step processes were just too hard for me!! I'm really fucked up after finished that paper. Hopefully there will be a miracle happens when the results release.

Well, there's another sad case. My family went to Kuching yesterday and leaving me alone in Miri. They went to Boulevard and the Spring. Argh! I haven't reached those places before in my life. How come they didn't wait for me?! Nevermind, I'll go myself next time. Just spare my some cash is enough.

Okay, it's time to sleep. Quite tired now because I washed 3 cars just now for the happiness in this morning.

Countdown to Final Exam

Well, it's the time to do countdown for the final exam. 75 hours later from now, I'll will have my final exam for this semester. Argh! I haven't started finished my study! How?!

I have received the internal marks for all units today. I personally think that the marks are still acceptable but I don't really satisfied about it. Below is my results and the marks needed to pass the units.

Past Few Days

Sorry, I've been inactive for the past few days because my parents, brother and sister had came to Miri to visit me. I need to bring them go play and eat around in this city.

On the first day, I had bring them to Parkson Megamall as they haven't go to the new megamall before. I have got myself a new CD when visiting Popular.

The songs inside this CD attracted me when it played at Popular. You might think that why I bought this CD. The reason is because I'm that kind of people who like to heard old songs more than the modern songs.

When we finished our shopping, it was already 7:30pm. Then, we went to Grand Palace Hotel to have our dinner. We have ordered a whole crispy chicken, broccoli with scallops, few plates of noodles and porridge. The food were very delicious and especially for the crispy chicken, the meat was so crispy and soft. I highly recommended to everyone to check it out.

After our dinner, we went back to home. My dad asked me to bring him around with my ride, the Z. He hasn't sat inside the car since the car had bought. I also let him to drive it so he also can feel the fun of this ride.

The second day, we went to Boulevard to shop again. Nothing much to say about here as it just normal shopping. On the night, my mom decided to cook at home. She cooked Ginseng chicken soup and some vegetables. Besides, my girlfriend had also passed me a pot of beef soup and a container of hand-made noodles.
They went back Bintulu on the next day. Again, I need to be alone again in the house : (

After that, me and my friends went to Mc. Donald for lunch in this afternoon.

Dragon Boat Festival

My birthday was ended with a dinner at Shabu Shabu and a round of DOTA with my friends. It sounds bored huh?

Let's back to the topic. Today is Dragon Boat Festival, also known as 端午节 in Chinese. Early in the morning, my mom has phoned me and asked me to buy rice dumpling, known as 粽子 in Chinese. She told me to buy some rice dumpling to celebrate the festival. But I don't really like to eat that, so I didn't buy any.

This afternoon, I went to my girlfriend house to have lunch. The food are very delicious. There are many kinds of food to choose. The only thing I don't eat is yam because I hate yam. The fried chicken and the Bak Kut Teh are very nice. The dinner just now was terrible because me and my friends were hide at home and eat fried rice with a can.

That's all for today as I need to start my revision for my final exam. There's only 1 more week left for the exam. All the best to me.

Accident Flu

Nowadays, not only the A(H1N1) flu is showing around. There is a new flu call "Accident Flu" which caused the road users involve in an accident.

My girlfriend was involved in an accident this morning. She knocked the car in front of her when turning into a roundabout. Luckily, it is only a light accident with only minor damages for both parties. She felt very sad on that because her new car was accident. The car is only 1 month age.

A few nights ago, my friend was accident in his own house garage. The accident happened when he drove very fast into the garage. He tried to slow down his car on that moments but failed because of the speed and the slippery floor. His car bang on the back of another friend car. The front one is lucky, with only a little bit scratches on the bumper. But for the back one, the whole bonnet become scrap metal and a little bit scratches on the bumper.

Besides that, there was also a lorry that carry palm oil fell on the road in front of my campus in Senadin. The palm oil didn't leaked but the road was heavily damaged.

Hopefully, i won't infected by this accident flu. So, drive safe everyone.

Drag Racing

This is my second time went to the old Lutong airport for drag racing. I went there with my friend to test our car performance.

The time I reached there, one car came near and asked me to have a race. I didn't know what is that car but i know it is equipped with turbos. I'm still new and not very familiar to the manual transmission. During the race, I missed my second gear and the car was passing me. Luckily, my car is not dissapointed me and I still managed to catch up during the third gear by rev up to 6600 rpm.

Well, it is a good experience for me to learn about. I'll learn how to shift properly so i won't miss my gear next time.

Tinted

I had received my car for a month and it is still not get tinted. The weather in Miri is just too hot. Everytime I parked my car outside and when I get back to the car, it is just like entering an oven.

This morning, I sent my car to MegaShine for tinted. I have selected a nano-ceramic films, which is Huper Optik. Huper Optik is a nanotechnology windows films that from German. I asked the boss there recommend me the best windows films that can blocked heat and make the interior looked darker. He recommended me the "Select Sech 60" which is the top line of windows films in the shop. Well, this films have 83% of infrared heat rejection and 59% of visible light transmittance. The films are come with 5 years warranty.

The boss quote me the price for RM2100 for the first time. After negotiating with him, the final price will be RM1950. Now after tinted, the heat problem is solved.
